Job Description Job Description Neufeldt Industrial Services, Inc is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Mobile Crane Operator with a NCCCO license to join our team. We are a family owned company which primarily operates within 100 miles of Red Wing, MN. Serving the area since 1975.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge operating various types of cranes, with a deep understanding of load charts, hand signals, and safety protocols. Applicant needs to be a member in good standing or willing to join the local 49ers union. We have mobile hydraulic cranes from 30 to 70 tons. We are a taxi crane company and our work includes lifting rooftop ac units, millwright work, building trusses, catwalks, and everything in between.
Qualifications
Valid crane operator TSS, TLL, NCCCO certification and license.
Hold a valid Class A CDL and maintain the DOT physicals.
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in rigging in addition to taxi crane operating.
Maintain working knowledge of load charts, hand signals, and state and federal DOT laws.
Must be able to work independently, prioritize daily work assignments, and communicate with all levels of employees.
Have a complete knowledge of crane and rigging signals.
Know the emergency response procedures for mobile crane operations.
Responsibilities
Operate TSS/TLL cranes.
Taking crane to and from jobsite, reviewing location and deciding on proper crane placement, setup, and operating the crane.
Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate lifting operations.
May assist in lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
Maintain clear communication with ground crew using hand signals or radios.
Conduct routine maintenance on cranes and other heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Read and understand lifting capacity charts.
Must maintain a log book.
Performs other duties as required.
