Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Technician to join our team. This position requires proficiency using high voltage power supplies in a manufacturing setting!
The successful candidate will be responsible for: - Writing in-process test procedures for circuit boards.
- Designing test fixtures (a plus).
- Troubleshooting down to the component level.
- Working closely with Engineering to support new systems development.
- Loading software for system testing.
- Reading schematics, wiring diagrams, or wire lists prior to system testing.
- Reporting unusual and/or recurring faults and failures.
- Returning defective components to Quality Assurance.
- Traveling to customers to conduct inspections, installations, and repairs.
- Performing other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Top Must-Have Skills: - Experience in Electrical/Electronic Testing : Minimum of 3 years in the field.
- Security Clearance Eligibility : Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
- Technical Proficiency : Strong knowledge of digital electronics, electrical/electronic components, and test equipment, including the use of digital oscilloscopes.
Skills & Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates or Bachelor's degree desirable.
- Established security clearance highly desirable.
- Power conversion/power supply experience desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
- Experience with Analog & Digital power circuits.
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Some travel required to support fielded equipment, both domestic and international.
Work Environment: You will be working in a standard engineering/manufacturing company. Our large building is currently being renovated to enhance manufacturing efficiency, with new equipment and advanced testing setups. We pride ourselves on being a collaborative company.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
