Summary
The Construction Assistant Superintendent will help lead and manage large-scale construction for the entire project lifecycle, developing project strategies, plans, and budgets, and assembling qualified project teams.
The role involves scheduling, coordinating, and supervising craft employee activities, which may include supervising various trade groups (electricians, boilermakers, and carpenters) in different construction disciplines such as, civil, structural, electrical.


Responsibilities

• Guide and support craft labor, subcontractors, and field personnel including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and sheet metal trades
• Coordinate scheduling, manpower, equipment, materials, and daily construction operations
• Support equipment startup, commissioning, QA/QC, and project closeout activities.
• Ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, project schedules, and safety standards
• Coordinate with project management, engineering, quality control, procurement, and subcontractors to resolve field issues
• Monitor productivity, project progress, and workforce performance
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety programs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Superintendent or construction supervisory experience on commercial, industrial, mission critical, or data center projects
• Experience managing large-scale projects valued at $50M+ preferred
• Knowledge of construction scheduling, cost control, commissioning, and field operations
• Ability to lead large teams and coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors
• Valid Drivers License
